Cultivar is ordering software for Australian medicinal cannabis distributors and wholesalers. Your verified pharmacies order from a gated catalogue. You split small batches across them before shipping. The Schedule 8 ledger and the six-monthly TGA supply report build themselves from the order lines.
Taking the order is ten minutes. What eats your week is what the order leaves behind: a spreadsheet of who got what, a ledger you keep in two places, an allocation you are carrying in your head, and a report you rebuild from invoices twice a year.
Cultivar writes all four while you take the order.
Verified pharmacies order in a browser against the products and batches you have released to them. Each line carries the batch number, the prescription pathway and the pharmacy’s approval details, and a pharmacy sees the status of its own order without contacting you.

A limited release is divided across the pharmacies that ordered it, by rule or by hand, with a waitlist for the remainder. Each account sees its own number. Nobody rings to ask, and nobody is forgotten when the next release lands.
How a share-out works
Every unit received, supplied and on hand is recorded per batch and per pharmacy as each order is processed. The ledger is written by the order itself, so it is never kept separately or reconciled against it. What you supplied and what each pharmacy received are one record.
The Schedule 8 checklist
The supply report the Therapeutic Goods Administration requires is compiled from the supply lines already on record, per product and per batch, and exported as a file for your review and sign-off before submission. Earlier periods stay on record with who reviewed them and when.

This is the path one order takes, what is written down at each hand-off, and who holds title to the goods while they are there.
With the figures a mid-sized distributor runs at. The numbers are illustrative; the sequence is not.
Your grower releases batch 0431-B: 1,800 units, laboratory report and expiry attached. It appears on your desk with title held by the grower until you take supply. Nobody re-keys the certificate of analysis.
Twenty-three pharmacies had asked for flower 10 g since the last drop. You allocate 1,680 units by the rule you set and move four accounts by hand; 120 units go to the waitlist in the order the pharmacies asked. Each account sees its own number.
Fourteen orders come in through the morning, each against a batch you released and each carrying the pharmacy’s approval details and the prescription pathway. Two are flagged: one pharmacy’s state licence lapses on Friday, and supply against it is held until the renewal is recorded.
Northgate Compounding queries its March balance. You open the batch ledger: what you supplied and what they received are the same record, 62 units each way, difference nil. The query is answered from the screen.
The six-monthly supply report is already built from the half-year’s supply lines: 18,420 lines across 212 batches. You review it, mark it for sign-off and export the file for the Therapeutic Goods Administration. The previous period stays on record with who reviewed it and when.
Growers, pharmacies and patients use Cultivar to receive and fulfil a distributor’s orders. A field that is not theirs is not transmitted to their desk.

Any product you release as a batch with a laboratory report and an expiry date: flower, oils, capsules and other forms. The public site does not describe or price any medicine; that is a condition of advertising law for these products, and it applies to the platform’s public pages too.
Pricing is per organisation and sized to its role, so a regional wholesaler is not priced as a national one. Pharmacies are not charged to order from their distributor, and patients do not pay for the portal. A figure for your organisation is given at the demo.
